To request repeat prescriptions, you should continue to follow the current process we have in place.
You can register to use PATCHS click here. All you will need to do is provide an email address and set up a password.
How does PATCHS work?
PATCHS is an online consultation service that allows you to access GP services quickly and easily. This service is separate to GP records online / NHS APP, you do not need a linkage key to use this service.
Do not use Admin / Other or Medications request option to submit a clinical / medical request for a GP appointment as those inboxes are for non clinical requests only and are not monitored by the GP.
How do I get started with PATCHS?
Answer 4 simple questions and PATCHS will get you the help you need.
PATCHS is a way to access your GP practice online but like all appointments there are a limited number per day.
Step 1 - You can register for PATCHS here. You’ll be asked to enter your email address and set a password, and a few other details. Click here for how to guide
Step 2 - Once you have registered, you can access PATCHS by going to the PATCHS website or opening the NHS app on your smartphone. Login by entering your registered email address & password.
Step 3 - Choose the appropriate option and answer a few simple questions to help your GP understand the problem.
Step 4 - Your answers are sent to your GP who responds as quickly as possible. Initial responses may be via online message or phone, with face to face or video consultation appointments scheduled if necessary.
* Once these appointments are filled PATCHS will be closed until the next day. To find out more please click here. *
