About us
Alwoodley Medical Centre formed in March 2016 from the merger of the Nursery Lane and Moorcroft surgeries. In 2021 addtional patients joined the surgery after the closure of Alwoodley Avenue surgery.
Our dedicated team are here to treat minor ailments as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. Technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home, work or phone such as ordering a repeat prescription and booking or cancelling an appointment.
Disability and discrimination: We will provide care, now and in the future. To all our patients without discrimination and irrespective of patients' age, sex, race, beliefs, or special needs. We expect that patients will show no discrimination towards other surgery users. Members of the practice team or our colleagues in the NHS.
Alwoodley medical centre is a Member of Central North Leeds PCN – working together to deliver services to patients and West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Central North Leeds Primary Care Network.
Alwoodley Medical Centre is actively contributing to medical research which we believe plays an important role in improving the medicine we practice.
